Join KPMG's Global Executive & Private Client Group as a Tax Intern, supporting international tax analysis and compliance.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting clients in analyzing tax implications of working internationally and filing income tax returns in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Assisting corporations with setting up operations in new countries and ensuring compliance with tax rules.
  • Helping clients determine compensation packages for executives on international assignments.
  • Providing global coordination/support for KPMG's corporate clients in managing global mobility programs.
  • Assisting Associates and Senior Associates with engagement administration and scoping efforts.
  • Building capabilities in key technologies for client service delivery, such as AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.

About You:

  • Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing degrees in Tax, Accounting, International Business, Human Resources, or Finance.
  • Preferred GPA is 3.0 or above.
  • Candidates should have additional academic credits to complete post-internship.
  • Bilingual in English and Japanese is a plus.
  • Skills required include analyzing tax and accounting information, strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to the office and be able to travel as needed.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship is preferred.
