Leverage a diverse array of skill sets to provide international companies with global tax, compensation, benefits and HR-related services by working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Serve as a direct contact while you compile and calculate compensation and benefit deductions and costs, review compensation provisions and assess applicable tax rules, support Mergers & Acquisitions due diligence work about employee compensation as well as employer benefits and participate in drafting white papers/reports on relevant topics in the global rewards space.
Work with KPMG offices across the globe providing guidance and worldwide coordination for mobility tax support; work collaboratively with tax and human resource professionals within multinational companies to manage the tax implications of their global workforce.
Participate in and contribute to external market and business activities.
Build capabilities in key technologies that enable tax professionals for client service delivery such as artificial intelligence (AI), Alteryx, Power BI, and more.
About you
Qualifications:
Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months: Bachelor and Master in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science, or equivalent program from an accredited college or university.
Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau or experimentation with other digitization tools.
Demonstrated a quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude, critical thinking and research skills and the ability to navigate MS Office applications including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
Excellent communication, time management, project management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high-quality work.
Ability to learn and navigate technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Alteryx and Power BI.
Must reside within a reasonably commutable distance to the office for this position and be able to travel to reasonably commutable work locations using own means of transportation, such as a personal vehicle or public transportation.
Ability to travel and work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future is preferred.
Compensation & benefits
The annual salary for this role ranges from $74,000 to $85,000 (California salary range).
