Join KPMG as a Tax Intern in Indirect Tax Technology, assisting clients with innovative tax solutions and gaining valuable experience.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities as follows:

  • Assist clients in gathering and documenting business and system requirements.
  • Analyze complex business problems for automated solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues.
  • Develop process documents, data intake forms, tools, and work plans for projects.
  • Apply business rules and requirements to client applications and deliverables.
  • Build capabilities in technologies like AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.

About You:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Accounting, Systems, or equivalent.
  • Additional academic credits required post-internship for degree or CPA eligibility.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Proficiency in MS Access, VB, Power BI, Alteryx, and/or SQL is preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, and MS Office skills.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to learn and navigate AI, Alteryx, and Power BI technologies.
  • Residency within a commutable distance to the office and ability to travel as needed.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
