Your role
Responsibilities:
Advise clients on import and export matters in a variety of industries.
Examine U.S. and international import and export trade matters.
Research, write and review international trade advice.
Formulate ideas and deliver possible trade savings opportunities.
Assist in the delivery of multiple client engagements on time and within budget; maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations and help enhance client satisfaction.
Support clients with the implementation of global trade automated solutions.
Build capabilities in key technologies that enable tax professionals for client service delivery such as artificial intelligence (AI), Alteryx, Power BI, and more.
About you
Qualifications:
Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months: Bachelors and Masters in Business (Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Tax, or other business-related major), International Affairs (International Studies, Political Science, Sociology), Data or related degree, or equivalent program from an accredited college or university.
Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
Demonstrated quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Access.
Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high-quality work.
Ability to learn and navigate technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Alteryx and Power BI
Must reside within a reasonably commutable distance to the office for this position and be able to travel to reasonably commutable work locations using own means of transportation, such as a personal vehicle or public transportation.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice.
Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future is preferred.
Compensation & benefits
The annual salary for this role can range from $70000 - $85000 (California salary).
