Your role

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on import and export matters in a variety of industries.
  • Examine U.S. and international import and export trade matters.
  • Research, write and review international trade advice.
  • Formulate ideas and deliver possible trade savings opportunities.
  • Assist in the delivery of multiple client engagements on time and within budget; maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations and help enhance client satisfaction.
  • Support clients with the implementation of global trade automated solutions.
  • Build capabilities in key technologies that enable tax professionals for client service delivery such as artificial intelligence (AI), Alteryx, Power BI, and more.

About you

Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months: Bachelors and Masters in Business (Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Tax, or other business-related major), International Affairs (International Studies, Political Science, Sociology), Data or related degree, or equivalent program from an accredited college or university.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Demonstrated quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Access.
  • Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to learn and navigate technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Alteryx and Power BI
  • Must reside within a reasonably commutable distance to the office for this position and be able to travel to reasonably commutable work locations using own means of transportation, such as a personal vehicle or public transportation.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future is preferred.

Compensation & benefits

The annual salary for this role can range from $70000 - $85000 (California salary).
