Join KPMG as a Tax Intern in Property Tax, assisting with tax planning and compliance in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities as follows:

  • Assist in tax planning for businesses, identifying tax savings opportunities related to property tax.
  • Analyze property tax implications of transactions like mergers and acquisitions.
  • Stay updated on property tax legislative developments.
  • Support multi-state companies with property tax compliance and planning.
  • Prepare and review property tax returns and extensions.
  • Review property tax notices and prepare appeal recommendations.
  • Build skills in technologies like AI, Alteryx, and Power BI for client service delivery.

About You:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, taxation, or related fields.
  • A preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Strong tax research skills and technical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to learn and use technologies like AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
