Assist clients with tax planning and compliance at KPMG, a leading tax firm.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting clients with tax planning, compliance, and consulting needs.
  • Supervising and allocating work of shared services team members and interns.
  • Preparing and reviewing tax provisions for financial statements.
  • Analyzing, preparing, and reviewing tax workpapers and returns.
  • Researching and drafting technical memoranda for compliance and consulting projects.
  • Responding to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
  • Building capabilities in key technologies for client service delivery.
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop client relationships.
  • Keeping up to date on tax technical developments.

About You:

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's or Master's in business, accounting, finance, taxation, mathematics, economics, IT, data and analytics, or engineering.
  • Preferred degrees in Accounting and Taxation.
  • Pursuing state-specific education requirements to be a licensed CPA.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Coursework or minor in information systems, software engineering, computer science, or data and analytics preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, and MS Office skills.
  • Ability to learn and navigate technologies like AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance to the office and be able to travel as needed.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
