Join KPMG as a Tax Intern in Global Mobility Services, leveraging diverse skills in a dynamic team.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing global tax, compensation, benefits, and HR-related services as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Serving as a direct contact for compiling and calculating compensation and benefit deductions.
  • Supporting Mergers & Acquisitions due diligence regarding employee compensation and employer benefits.
  • Drafting white papers/reports on global rewards topics.
  • Coordinating mobility tax support with KPMG offices worldwide.
  • Collaborating with tax and HR professionals in multinational companies.
  • Participating in external market and business activities.
  • Building capabilities in technologies like AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.

About You:

Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Accounting, Systems, or equivalent.

  • Must have additional academic credits to complete post-internship.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Proficiency in MS Access, VB, Power BI, Alteryx, and/or SQL is preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, and MS Office skills.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to learn and navigate AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance to the office and be able to travel as needed.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

The California salary range is $71,000 - $85,000. KPMG offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and personal well-being benefits. Personal Time Off and firmwide breaks are provided annually.
