Join KPMG as a Tax Intern, working with a dynamic team to provide innovative tax solutions.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing tax-related tasks, including compliance, advising, and planning for various clients.
  • Participating in data analytics assignments using KPMG technology.
  • Performing tax due diligence to identify tax exposures and opportunities.
  • Assisting multi-state companies with state and local tax issues.
  • Advising multinational enterprises on business and tax planning decisions.
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and sustaining excellent client relationships.
  • Building capabilities in key technologies like AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.

About You:

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in relevant fields.
  • Preferred degrees in Accounting and Taxation.
  • Pursuing educational requirements for CPA licensure.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Coursework or minor in information systems, software engineering, or data and analytics preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to learn and navigate technologies such as AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance to the office and be able to travel as needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
