Like other suppliers to the Intelligence industry, Leidos requires candidates to be Australian Citizens and be able to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance. Those students who do not meet these requirements will unfortunately not be considered for a graduate role at Leidos Australia.
Cleshan Warusavitarne - Software Engineer
Cleshan is a Software Engineer working as part of the Mission Software Solutions sector of Leidos Australia. He joined Leidos in 2024 as a Graduate Software Engineer after completing his double degree of Software Engineering and Commerce at Monash University. Majority of his role as a full stack developer is maintaining and developing new functionalities for pre-existing or new critical software products. He is passionate about engaging with different people from different lines of the business as well as learning problem solving techniques.
Jordan Hayward - Program Financial Analyst
Jordan is a Financial Analyst at Leidos Australia. He is responsible for overseeing the financial performance of a number of projects. This involves tracking budgets, analyses variances and preparing reports to ensure his programs remain profitable and are in compliance with financial policies. Jordan joined Leidos in 2023 as a Graduate Financial Analyst after completing a Bachelor of Commerce and Biomedical Science at Monash. He loves working in excel, solving unique problems and working with a passionate, hardworking team.
Bree Duncan-Smith - Software Engineer
Bree is a Software Engineer at Leidos Australia. After obtaining her Bachelors of Information Technology at Deakin University, she joined Leidos’ 2024 Graduate Program. She works as a full-stack engineer, using technology such as Typescript and Rust. Through her project, she has been able to demo to customers, run meetings and learn extensively about scrum. She is passionate about learning and discovering the best solution to address user and customer problems.
Talia Zidar - Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst
Talia is a Cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst at Leidos Australia. In her role she analyses, validates, and recommends treatment paths based on industry standard and policies. Talia commonly works in the compliance and vulnerability management areas. She joined Leidos in 2023 as a Graduate Cyber Security Analyst after completing her Bachelor of Cyber Security and Bachelor of Criminology from Deakin University. She enjoys blending data analysis and visualisations to create unique solutions to address client needs and combining the skills of her two degrees into her work.
Murray Bruce - VP, Australia Asia CTO
Murray Bruce is the Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) Vice President at Leidos Australia, where he and his team are delivering powerful benefits for customers through collaboration, bold decision making and innovation. They design solutions to some of Australia’s most vexing problems – from jets that do search and rescue across 10% of the worlds surface to ships that sail without crews, to weather forecasting to save lives during natural disasters and beyond. Murray works closely with our intern and graduate intakes, sponsors our Young Professionals Group, shapes strategies in areas like flight safety, GenerativeAI and mission software development and champions upskilling of Leidos technical and non-technical staff. He is an avid ultra-distance trail runner who is an Ambassador for a veterans charity Bravery Trust where he runs several marathons a year to provide emergency financial support to veterans, serving people and their families.
Michelle Israel - National Early Careers Lead
Michelle is the National Early Careers Lead at Leidos Australia leading the graduate, intern and trainee programs across Australia. For over 7 years, Michelle has managed the early careers space at Leidos and is passionate about helping individuals starting out in their careers or individuals making a career change and setting them up for success. Michelle started her career as a graduate, after experiencing the classic dilemma of not being able to get a job without experience and needing experience to get a job - a common career catch 22. Prior to Leidos, Michelle worked in recruitment and organisational development across a variety of industries and sectors including Business and Finance, Healthcare, Local and State Government.
