Hi, I’m Lachie and I joined the Mainfreight Development Program in 2023 after studying a dual degree in International Business and Law, I found myself unsure of what I wanted to do towards the end of my degree, which is why Mainfreight’s program drew me in. It offered genuine flexibility around career progression and support to move around the business and try different roles.

I originally started my Mainfreight journey in Queensland with the Brisbane Metro team, which exposed me to the operations from the ground up and provided a plethora of valuable networking opportunities.

It was these experiences that gave me the foundation to transition to my new role in Melbourne with the Victorian Customer Development team. I am very passionate about the career that I have started with the business and look forward to the different opportunities that await me within Mainfreight.
