The Mastercard Launch program is aimed at early career talent, to help you develop skills and gain cross-functional work experience. Over a period of 18 months, Launch participants will be assigned to a business unit, learn and develop skills, and gain valuable on the job experience. 

Overview

This role will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Product Delivery, Asia Pacific and will provide general administrative duties as well as manage basic project management components and support the day-to-day functioning of the Product Delivery team which includes supporting with internal process improvements, creating presentations, and overseeing the team’s knowledge repositories.

Role

The Product Delivery team is responsible for maintaining the customer technical relationship and customer implementation for the Asia Pacific region. Additionally, the team also offers operational and technical account management, pre-sales, and solutioning to ensure customer delivery readiness. Supports release management process towards clients for technology updates. Market Delivery manages the flawless delivery of all customers technical and product implementations via:

  • Produce presentation materials, reports and communications for internal stakeholders including senior leadership
  • Support the Senior Vice President of Product Delivery through a variety of administrative tasks including calendar, expense and travel management and support other managers and the team as well where appropriate including with team event coordination
  • Help oversee the team objectives and employee programs including status tracking and monitoring potential risks or issues where required
  • Define and document Product Delivery processes, manuals, and other operational documentation
  • Monitor and track project deliverables and timelines, contribute to internal process improvements and update senior management where required
  • Manage and oversee the team’s tools and platforms including Access Management, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook mailboxes
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with partners in other Customer Delivery teams and other business functions to deliver and support on tasks
  • Own and manage the quarterly department newsletter

Education: 

  • Graduating seniors - Class of 2022/end January 2023
  • Students pursuing a Masters/bachelor’s degree (all majors welcome to apply) 

Key Competencies:

  • Strong technical, system and operations knowledge within financial services
  • Project management, problem-solving and planning skills with a demonstrated record of successfully managing multiple projects
  • Ability to identify issues and proactively resolve issues through escalation to appropriate partners
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical and business information in an easy to understand manner
  • Able to effectively deliver messages both verbally and in writing
  • Experience of worked in operations, technology roles in financial institutions is an added advantage
  • Self-driven, ability to work well autonomously and within a team

Experience and Skills needed

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills 
  • Ability to work and interact with stakeholders at all levels, on a team and independently 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 
  • Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Previous experience using Confluence, SharePoint, Oracle, Qualtrics beneficial but not required
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail 
  • Elevated level of confidentiality and discretion
