MC has employee-led business resources groups to assist in fostering an inclusive workplace. I find the company very inclusive and fair.

Mastercard is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. This was evident in their recruitment process and across senior leaders. They offer great policies and benefits surrounding child care and maternity leave. There are dedicated groups for women, ethnic minorities, those with disability and LGBT and their allies that focus on awareness, learning, volunteering and creating social impact.

There is a dedicated Women in Leadership support group with many interesting and successful guest speakers. Women are well represented and respected within the business

Company is great and a good social citizen. Division has had issues with gender diversity but is genuinely working hard to address them

Their commitment to equal maternity and paternity leave is a good example of moving towards equal opportunity. I was disappointed by my grad cohort as only one-quarter of the cohort was female. This has improved in this year's cohort. Many women are in senior leadership roles who also have children which is encouraging and I see a great mix of different ethnicities and cultures in the office.

Diversity is emphasized and encouraged.

There is a fair representation of gender, ethnicity and LGBT people among my colleagues. This does not seem to affect promotions either, with many women/women of colour in high level positions.

Incredibly diverse company that is also committed to various programs that drive this. Culture very supportive of this.

Mentioned previously that we have and champion our business resource groups, which we have for all of the above. I don't see recruitment or retention an issue for our diversity, and both locally and globally we are diverse. Of particular note as a male, is that we have 18 weeks paternal leave (not relevant for me right now), however strong indication that we are recognising the importance of giving choice and flexibility to new parents about who works.

lots of focus groups

16 weeks maternity and paternity leave is amazing! Overall very modern company hiring practices, cohort is balanced with mix of races and genders (10 grads, 7 women, 3 guys)

I think diversity is often addressed, and respect for women is great. People feel comfortable openly talk about child care and maternity leave, given the flexibility to come back as part time, which was not the case in my previous role.

Very aware of peoples individual circumstances. Will accommodate to these however necessary.

Amazing maternity leave, lots of international womens day, womens groups. all great

What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
I know there is gender pay parity (women and men earn the same $ for the same role). I would also say the business resource groups do great work in engaging and fostering inclusion for people from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds. Girls4Tech is another good example.

Provide learning and development and scholarships for kids from less fortunate backgrounds to help them progress through university, upskill, and find the right career path.
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Apr 2023
We encourage Equal Employment Opportunity and we are open to all applicants.

Diversity and inclusive representation on campus, and in talent acquisition campaigns. Locally, we have a Girls 4 Tech program where Girls from primary schools around NSW come into our Tech Hub and are introduced to the space in fun, gamified ways. We are also identifying how we can expand our partnerships with schools to include Boys as well, and also from Indigenous communities. Mastercard thinks about this globally and we have a D&I chief who works with our global talent team as well.

Not aware (Not much exposure to the recruitment)
Graduate, Sydey - 10 Jun 2021
Business resource groups to provide community for minorities, though not restricted to them.

Not sure to be honest. I don't know if they do anything specific really.
