What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
Pay could be a little better but the bonus structure incentivizes hard work which is good.

Average for graduate

Pay is in line with a graduate program starting salary but you get a great yearly bonus + awesome benefits (GU health is a personal favourite!).
Graduate, Sydney - 20 Apr 2023
The salary, when compared to other graduate roles in the same position/industry, is comparable.
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Apr 2023
Pay is solid for a graduate in the industry. Bonus is a good way to incentivize performance
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Jun 2021
Pay is good relative to general workload and expectations. Bonus pay is unfotunately a negative - bonuses (and career progression) are very static and don't provide enough incentive to go above and beyond the call of duty

The pay for a grad is quite high compared to other companies. The bonus I received was decent but the salary increase was low due to Covid pressure on the company.
Graduate, Sydney - 21 Jun 2021
Could be more competitive
Graduate, Sydney - 16 Jun 2021
Average pay, not as good as most technology companies.
Graduate, Sydney - 15 Jun 2021
Very high pay comparatively for a "grad role" and a decent room for bonuses, with a base projection of 10%.
Graduate, Melbourne, Australia - 14 Jun 2021
Standard pay and good bonus incentive.
Midlevel, Sydney - 11 Jun 2021
Mastercard indexes slightly above average for graduates, opportunity for base to increase is not substantial versus what you could get as a lateral hire. Mastercard does pay bonuses based on a target band and your individual performance each year, and increases your base by CPI/wage growth. At our leaderships' discretion, we may be eligible for LTI in the form of restricted stock units.

Bonuses are ok. Pay could improve
Graduate, Sydney - 11 Jun 2021
Reasonable
Midlevel, Sydney - 10 Jun 2021
Pay is very competitive I feel as a Grad, it potentially doesn't increase as fast as other industries however as getting promoted is relatively difficult.

Could be more, but not complaining!

Often run little email competitions that can get tickets to movies, cricket, tennis etc. They have food in the office once a week or so. They pay for $10,000 USD a year of further education if you want to study while working. You can get extra bonus money if a co-worker recognizes you in this HR system. You can get paid for referring a friend who gets hired.
