Your role

Mediacorp is looking for interns who can fulfill their internship within the time period. In this role, you will be involved with:

• Assist in the planning and execution of promotions which includes but is not exhaustive to ideation, logistics, and sourcing of prizes and sponsors.
• Assist in winners and contest management on the station.
• Where applicable, contribute to ideation and/or follow-through of content ideas for both on-air and social platforms.
• Assist in the station's shaping of strategies by monitoring and reporting on competitors or stations within similar markets.
• Assist and ensure smooth communication with both internal and external clients for campaigns. Ensure follow-through of deliverables for campaigns, sponsorships, and promotions.
• Where applicable, the intern will also be assisting in duties such as a producer, designer editor (social media), and/or music assistant.

About you

To apply for this internship, you should meet the following requirements:

• Must be a fast worker and able to think on your feet to solve problems.
• Must be willing to handle the pressure of tight deadlines and work after working hours and weekends when necessary for station events and activities.
• Must be articulate in speaking, writing, and editing in English.
• Must be comfortable working in a team and taking directions as much as working solo when the time calls for it.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Drive Management.
• Design or Editing skills will be advantageous; optional skills in Photoshop, Premier Pro, and Illustrator.
• Candidate must be currently enrolled at a local educational institution.
• The internship is recognized as part of the school's official curriculum.
• Successful applicants must commit to at least a 3-month internship during the period from October 2024 to August 2025.
