This assignment is in the Healthcare Quality Improvement (HQI) team within Global Medical Proficiency and External Affairs (GMPEA). GMPEA serves as the Center of Excellence for HQI strategy, professional relations, and external affairs, independent medical education (IME), and our Research & Development Division Grants worldwide. This function exists within the broader Value and Implementation (V&I) organization, which is part of our Research & Development Division.
The HQI team supports the development and implementation of strategic plans to address healthcare quality gaps and clinical practice implementation barriers across priority therapeutic areas (TAs). The HQI team also collaborates with key healthcare quality organizations and engages with medical and professional societies on ways to improve healthcare quality and guideline-concordant care to improve patient outcomes.
The intern in this assignment may be responsible for:
Candidates must be able to commit to full-time onsite (or hybrid if applicable) employment for 10 - 12 weeks beginning June 2025
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day unless business-critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Please note, that this Hybrid work model guidance also does not apply to roles that have been designated as “remote”.
