Fraud Analytics Officer (Start ASAP)

Assist in managing fraud parameters and report generation at Metrobank, fostering leadership and community impact.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Fraud Strategies and Analytics Department Head in managing transaction parameters and alerts.
• Conducting periodic reviews and evaluations of rule performance.
• Testing and maintaining fraud rules and parameters in the monitoring system.
• Monitoring daily fraud alerts and addressing program errors.
• Identifying points of compromise and impacted accounts using analytics tools.
• Employing statistical techniques for fraud report preparation and analysis.
• Preparing and generating accurate and timely business reports.
• Performing other assigned duties.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related fields.
• Preferably experience in SAS, SQL, Python, Fraud Management Systems, or other analytics tools.
• Knowledge of banking products is preferred.
• Creativity and strong analytical skills.
• Experience with fraud cases is a plus.
• Willingness to work weekends and on a shifting schedule, including graveyard shifts and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
