Join Morgan Stanley's Research Team in Mumbai for a 6-month internship to develop analytical and quantitative skills in Fixed Income Research.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Fixed Income Research Strategists and Economists globally.
  • Building and maintaining analytics for Research publications.
  • Developing understanding of Fixed Income markets for trade idea generation.
  • Running statistical analysis and creating mathematical models.
  • Writing code to identify trends and patterns for investment ideas.
  • Developing quantitative models using econometrics and machine learning.
  • Building analytics for interest rate strategy, FX strategy, corporate credit markets, municipal bonds, and structured finance products.
  • Streamlining and enhancing existing models for Fixed Income Research.

About You

Candidates should have:

  • A Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Financial Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, or Economics.
  • Experience with statistical model development and modeling best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in programming languages like Python, C++, Q, Perl, or JavaScript.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A genuine interest and understanding of financial markets.
  • Analytical, insightful, quick learner, team player, and multi-tasker with a positive attitude.
