Fund Services - Chartered Accountant Industrial Trainee (Start ASAP)

Join Morgan Stanley's Fund Services Team in Bengaluru as a CA Industrial Trainee, focusing on NAV calculations and client portfolio updates.

Your role

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide accounting solutions to Hedge Funds for independent valuation, investor transparency, and regulatory compliance.
• Calculate daily Net Asset Value (NAV).
• Review Morgan Stanley Portfolio Accounting (MSPA) to custodian reconciliations and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform Profit & Loss analysis, daily cash projections, and FX transfers.
• Review general ledger exceptions and make necessary adjustments.
• Verify performance by reviewing large Profit & Loss swings.
• Adjust activity for performance processing and reporting.
• Accrue daily or monthly non-security related accruals.
• Process non-automated transactions including OTC derivatives.
• Perform daily and monthly securities pricing analysis.
• Validate and process corporate action data.
• Provide audit support and assistance in financial statement preparation.
• Assist with compliance functions.
• Allocate Profit & Loss to investors during month-end.

About you

Candidates should have:

• Prior work experience, preferably in financial services.
• Knowledge of hedge fund processing is advantageous.
• Good administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage increased workloads at month-end.
• Ability to work as part of a virtual team across different time zones.
• Ability to use key financial systems and IT tools.
• Pursuing CA.
