Your role

Morgan Stanley is offering an 8–10-week Summer Internship Program to explore the key role of Fund Services. Interns will work with the Client Computing Solutions (CCS) team, addressing complex issues like investor allocation and regulatory reporting. The program provides hands-on experience with customized solutions in finance and accounting, enhancing analytical, programming, and finance skills.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the hedge fund administration business.
  • Expected to suggest enhancements in the existing processes.
  • Understand the problem statement and design the solution which must be flexible to incorporate changes and scalable.
  • Understand and help document tools built for client processes.
  • Collaborate with other teams to transfer knowledge and implement solutions.
  • Comfortable taking on multiple roles such as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, and Developer.

About you

Qualifications

  • B.Tech/B.E. or an equivalent engineering degree along with an MBA.
  • Demonstrated programming skills in any language and willingness to learn Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
  • Candidates appearing for Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification would be advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with knowledge of financial concepts.
  • Ability to understand and evaluate complex situations quickly.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the drive to look for ways to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and to take them forward independently.
  • Hands-on experience with Excel-VBA.
  • Ability to work with a team, to discuss ideas, and to collaborate.

  • Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree
