Join Nine, Australia's leading media company, as an intern to gain hands-on journalism experience across news, sport, lifestyle, and entertainment.

Your role

Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Pitch daily stories at news conferences.
• Write and load articles.
• Work on images and video.
• Optimize articles for SEO.
• Collaborate across various websites, including 9News, Sport, Lifestyle, Affiliates, Entertainment, and Travel.
• Participate in a 10-week internship, working 2 days per week.

About you

Ideal candidates will have:

• An understanding and knowledge of CMS experience.
• A good foundation of writing and journalistic skills.
• An understanding of SEO and best practices.
• Experience in digital video and social amplification.
• Ability to manage deadlines.
• Understanding of news issues and current affairs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
