Octagon internship places are non-paid positions and must be undertaken as a requirement of an education or training course, in line with the Fair Work Act 2009. Working in either a single block or on a regular part-time basis you’ll be partnered with a Graduate Analyst or Analyst for the duration of your internship, briefly shadowing their experience while also getting an immediate opportunity to immerse yourself in the collection, review and analysis of real-life data. From the get-go, interns are given the opportunity to understand how to interpret data and form insights that will inform the commercial and business strategy that shapes the Australian sports landscape.
