Your Role
This role will be based out of PepsiCo’s world-class manufacturing facility in Calgary, Alberta.
Key Responsibilities:
Gain critical experiences and skills through improving production efficiencies, innovating business solutions, and implementing process changes.
With PepsiCo’s Pep + goals, be a part of charting new course to drive positive action for the plant, the people and the planet.
Showcase your tangible impact by presenting on your contributions to the Supply Chain Leadership team.
Motivate a frontline team, solve problems, and remove barriers in order to help “win the shift.”
Track business critical KPIs to identify trends to focus on meaningful projects that advance PepsiCo’s journey to be a faster, stronger and better company.
Additional Responsibilities:
Building people capability through effective employee relations, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel.
Applying theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of operations, repair procedures, trouble shooting and preventative maintenance to support facility equipment reliability.
Executing Annual Operating Plan for Production.
Achieving performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization and quality.
Tracking key performance indicators/costs, anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets.
Overseeing and assuring facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime.
Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations.
Ensuring compliance with all quality management programs and food safety systems, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).

About You
Qualifications:
Available to work from September 2024 – April 2025
Currently pursuing a degree in a Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sciences or similar program
Second year plus students preferred
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated commitment to working with and leading people
Proven problem solver and ability to manage competing priorities
Collaborative team-player with a “roll-up your sleeves” approach
A passion for and a demonstrated commitment to extra-curricular activities and/or community involvement
An agile individual who takes initiative and welcomes change with a positive attitude
