Your role

Throughout the term, you will have the opportunity to showcase your tangible impact by presenting your contributions to the Supply Chain Leadership team!

This experience will include motivating a frontline team, problem-solving issues, and removing barriers in order to help “win the shift”. You will also be responsible for tracking business critical KPIs to identify trends and focus on meaningful projects that advance PepsiCo’s journey to be a faster, stronger, and better company.

Responsibilities, Additional Skills & Experiences You Will Gain:

  • Building people capability through effective employee relations, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel 
  • Applying theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of operations, repair procedures, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance to support facility equipment reliability. 
  • Executing Annual Operating Plan for Production 
  • Achieving performance standards with regard to safety, line utilization, and quality 
  • Tracking key performance indicators/costs, anticipating and correcting trends that would compromise the achievement of financial targets. 
  • Overseeing and assuring facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime. 
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations 
  • Ensuring compliance with all quality management programs and food safety systems, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).

About you

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Science, or a similar program  
  • Second-year plus students are preferred.  
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with and leading people.  
  • Proven problem solver and ability to manage competing priorities.  
  • Collaborative team player with a “roll up your sleeves” approach  
  • A passion for and a demonstrated commitment to extra-curricular activities and/or community involvement  
  • An agile individual who takes initiative and welcomes change with a positive attitude.
