Responsibilities:

What can you expect? 

You’ll be based out of one of their world-class manufacturing facilities or distribution centres in Western Canada (Lethbridge, AB, Taber, AB, Winnipeg, MB or Surrey, BC). Your role will be to lead a team of frontline employees within Production, Maintenance, Traffic or Warehouse, including motivating the team, problem-solving issues, and removing barriers to help maximize results every day. They will task you will real business projects requiring you to influence team members to find and implement long-lasting solutions. duties will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Gain exposure to frontline leadership experiences, including backfilling team supervisors throughout your coop term.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement and participate in and drive problem-solving within your department.
  • Collaborate with other managers and team members to develop action plans to improve short-term and long-term business performance objectives.
  • Develop innovative technical solutions for continuous improvement projects within your department.

Training & development

As an intern, you'll gain hands-on leadership experience by managing frontline teams in production, maintenance, traffic, or warehouse operations at their top-tier facilities in Western Canada. You'll develop problem-solving skills, conduct data-driven analysis, and collaborate on innovative solutions for continuous improvement, preparing you for future leadership roles.

About you

Qualifications:

  • Their co-op positions may be required to work rotational and/or non-traditional shift schedules.
  • Must be enrolled in Post-Secondary schooling in Engineering, business or a related field.
