Your role

Responsibilities:

What could your first experience look like?

  • You’ll be based out of one of their world-class manufacturing facilities or one of their many distribution centres in Western Canada (Lethbridge or Taber, AB, Winnipeg, MB or Surrey, BC). 
  • You will work on assignments that require you to perform cost/benefit analysis and balance their four key imperatives: cost, quality, service, and people.
  • You will develop leadership skills by attending continuous improvement training with the ultimate goal of leading a front-line team.
  • You will be motivating your team to achieve established performance targets and coaching them on performance processes.
  • You will strive to identify and implement productivity and efficiency initiatives (ex. reduction of scheduled downtime, identifying loss points for raw materials, leading front-line employees, process changes and product & packaging waste reduction)

About you

Who's a good fit for the team:

  • Successful completion of bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management by September 2024.
  • Must be open to relocating within Western Canada. 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with and leading people.
  • Proven problem solver and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Collaborative team player with a “roll up your sleeves” approach.
