Responsibilities

What essential experiences will you gain?

You will be based out of one of our world-class facilities in Western Canada. Your role will be to lead a team of frontline employees working in production, quality or maintenance. You will be expected to overcome the challenges that come with being part of a supply chain organization, including motivating the team, finding solutions to problems and removing roadblocks to help the team achieve “a winning shift”. You will also be responsible for tracking business KPIs to identify trends and focus on meaningful projects that will advance PepsiCo’s mission to be a faster, stronger and better company. Sustainability and continuous improvement are in our DNA. This opportunity to participate in our co-op program will allow you to have a tangible impact on our day-to-day business operations by improving production efficiencies, developing new business solutions and implementing process changes. Additionally, by helping us achieve our Pep+ goals, you will be able to help forge new paths toward positive action for our plant, our people, and our planet. Throughout your tenure, you will have the opportunity to showcase your brilliant contributions by presenting them to the Supply Chain Leadership Team! 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Be available to work from January 2025 to the end of April 2025
  • Be studying in a university program in business, engineering, supply chain or other similar field.
  • Being a second year student or higher, an asset
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have a demonstrated willingness to work with people and lead
  • Have a demonstrated ability to problem solve and manage competing priorities
  • Having team spirit and knowing how to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
  • Demonstrate a passion for extracurricular activities and community involvement and have a history of participation in this type of activity
