Your role

Rabo Graduate Program offers a unique opportunity for university graduates to forge a meaningful career path through Rabobank. As a bank dedicated to agriculture, their regional and rural branches help support the innovative farmers and agribusinesses who put food on tables every day.

The Rural Banking Graduate Stream offers you the opportunity to work across different regional or rural branches, gaining valuable skills and knowledge that will help add value to clients, build meaningful relationships and help support farmers to grow more with less.

No two days are ever the same, you will be guided by experts in the field on how to maintain and grow client portfolios, conduct credit reviews, undertake financial analyses, and bring your innovative ideas on ways to add value to clients.

Training, development & rotations

The 18-month hybrid program provides a platform to experience a variety of Rabobank career options. Whether it’s connecting with colleagues in Sydney’s head office, working with clients on the ground in their regional and rural branches, or potentially even enjoying an international rotation in their global head office in Utrecht, you can be part of the team helping clients feed the world more sustainably.

To develop a well-rounded knowledge of the bank, you will also be placed on a short-term rotation within Risk and Compliance. Selected Graduates will also be placed on a short-term international rotation to connect with colleagues in the global head office in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

About you

Qualifications

• Final year undergraduate or postgraduate student, or have recently graduated within the last three years.
• Available to start full-time employment from February 2025.
• Flexible to relocate across different regional or rural locations in Australia (accommodation allowance may apply)
• Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
• Demonstrated knowledge and interest in your chosen field.
• Passion for the food and agribusiness industry would be advantageous.
• Self-motivated with the ability to plan and organise self.
• Excellent time management and ability to multitask and prioritise work.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication at all levels both written and verbal.
