About Raytheon Technologies

Raytheon Technologies, a global leader, excels in manufacturing aircraft engines, avionics, missiles, and space systems. Its subsidiary, Pratt & Whitney, renowned for cutting-edge aircraft engines, has significantly shaped the aviation industry since the early 20th century. Continuing to drive propulsion advancements, it delivers unparalleled performance and reliability.

Your role

Their expectations:

The person chosen will be responsible to identify opportunities, and drive actions, to expand margins through pricing of their products throughout the aftermarket lifecycle.

What your day to day will look like:

Create value through pricing;

  • For a given engine model, perform a financial analysis of the maintenance market and of P&WC product offering in order to propose changes in pricing or in product offering. For example, the analysis may lead to the conclusion that product’s x price should be raised because it sells more than product y, but generates a lower margin.
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of lifecycle pricing strategies by defining generic pricing strategies for recently introduced engine models (i.e. maximal capture), mid-life engines and end-of-life engines (i.e. keep flying).
  • Work with key stakeholder within P&WC to: understand different market views, collect pricing/product change ideas, validate proposed recommendations, create implementation plans, seek management approval, drive implementation and ensure value creation is realized and sustained.

Business case support & revenue recognition;

  • Support the creation or review of business cases for new product introduction or commercial transactions. The pricing team act as a center of excellence for business cases within the Business Development organisation.
