Your role

P&W's NSE team is developing a new hybrid-electric propulsion technology that will significantly improve the aircraft's efficiency. By optimizing performance in the various phases of flight, this will enable a reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions compared to a modern turboprop regional airliner. The NSE is a central component of the future hybrid-electric propulsion system and is a vital product for several P&W initiatives at the aerospace propulsion frontier.

The kind of work varies from day to day, and the follow up with sub-projects is needed on a daily basis.

Outside of the day-to-day tasks, the intern will propose and own projects and have concrete milestones towards their completion. Also lending a hand to colleagues and team members who reach out for help and will eagerly contribute in whatever way is needed to advance the team's mission to have its first flight in 2024.
