Your role

The expectations:

Working in the Quality team in Campus 1 Longueuil, the Quality Engineer participates in the business unit by applying multidisciplinary knowledge in the field of quality assurance and manufacturing technologies.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Investigate quality issues with the help of the data systems, discussing with the inspector and machine operator. All of this is to find the root causes of manufacturing problems.
  •  Document the investigations and research carried out.
  • Standardize the “Quality Clinic” on the manufacturing line.

About you

What you need to be successful:

Must haves:

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing a degree in engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills in French (spoken/written).

Assets:

  • Project management and investigation skills.
  • Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities.
  • A good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is required for the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the candidate will interact.
