Your Role

Pratt & Whitney’s internship program will run for 3 months from September 3 to December 20, 2024. This role will have to provide support on various financial operations governance activities as well as on ad hoc requests from team members. They must demonstrate intellectual curiosity and resourcefulness in order to accomplish his various mandates.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide support for accounts payable reconciliation: Analyze the root causes of unreconciled items and develop an action plan to resolve the issues
  • Support the internal audit process
  • Support the semi-annual inventory review process
  • Produce monthly financial reports
  • Develop training materials

About You

Qualifications:

  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
  • Pursuing a degree in Finance/Accounting
  • Excellent communication skills in French (spoken/written)

Assets:

  • Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and changing priorities
  • Mastery of Excel
  • Good navigation in MS Office, SharePoint and Power BI systems and applications
  • A good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is required for the operational needs of the employer and the people with whom the candidate will interact.
