Audit Assistant (ACA) - Graduate (Aug 2025)

Join RSM UK as an External Audit Assistant, engaging in diverse client work and pursuing a Chartered Accountant qualification.

Your role

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough, risk-focused reviews of clients' financial records, processes, and controls.  
• Ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and building trust among stakeholders.  
• Engaging in client work quickly, initially as part of a larger team, then taking on individual project responsibilities.  
• Working with a variety of clients, including owner-managed businesses, large listed groups, charities, and not-for-profit organizations.  
• Being office-based or at client sites to build relationships and receive support in the early career stages.

About you

Candidates should possess:  

• A minimum of 112 UCAS points across 3 A Levels or equivalent, or 104 UCAS points across 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate (Higher Level) and an obtained/predicted honours degree.  
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.  
• Ability to methodically analyze and interpret data to solve problems.  
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships.  
• An interest in business and commerce with strong organizational and time management skills.  
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.  
• Note: RSM does not accept General Studies, AS levels, or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
