Your role

The Business Development and Partnerships Teams at Shopee are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The teams also aim to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

As a SPX Business Development Intern, your key responsibilities may include:

• Perform cold calling duties as needed.
• Assist local merchant acquisition and onboard service point partners.
• Assist in producing training materials and guide service point partners on the features of the Shopee Xpress application.
• Maintain and update service point information and settings within the system.
• Maintain operation standards and provide feedback to service point partners.
• Serve as an intermediary between service point partners and the internal operations team to enhance operation standards and achieve overall business objectives.
• Consolidate monthly billings and updating of trackers.

About you

To apply for this internship, you should meet the following requirements:

• Willingness to travel around Singapore to speak to merchants and retailers.
• Proficient in Google and Microsoft Office products such as Excel and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Outgoing and possesses the confidence to approach potential partners.
• Independent worker and fast learner with a high level of initiative.
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a dynamic environment.
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive work attitude.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Full-time interns preferred 3 to 6 months.
• Part-time interns able to commit a minimum of 3 days a week are welcome to apply.

The estimated salary for this role is approximately SGD 14,000 per year, which includes base salary and additional pay. Specific benefits may vary depending on factors such as job role, level of experience, and location.
