Your role

In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Support the team in actuarial valuation/pricing, risk and reporting requirements.
• Familiar with actuarial concepts from either life or general insurance including valuation and pricing.
• Extract, transform and load (ETL) data with a good grasp of SQL and python.
• Familiarity with embedded insurance and insurance partnerships is a plus.

About you

To apply for this role, you must be:

• Prior experience in life/GI actuarial team (consulting/insurer/reinsurer), insurance analytics, banking and finance is preferred but not required.
• Proactive, can-do attitude; able to work effectively with those internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel, SQL and Python.
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of verbal and written English and another Asian language (Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Thai, Vietnamese, Tagalog) to coordinate with internal stakeholders across local offices will be a plus.
