About the team:

The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

Job description:

• Support projects covering Customer Experience, Seller Operations, and Risk. Excellent opportunity to gain first-hand insights into e-commerce operations
• Conduct market research and analysis to support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives
• Assist in product feature requests and development
• Automate data collection and aggregation processes to build dashboards for management reporting
• Collaborate with other functional teams to drive business insights and improvements

About you

Requirements for this internship:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher
• Passionate about technology and business. E-commerce experience or interest preferred, but not a prerequisite
• Comfortable working with large amounts of data
• Strong in Microsoft Excel
• Familiar with at least one programming/scripting language, preferably Python and SQL
• Experience in data analysis and data collection preferred
• Full-time interns preferred (3-6 months). Part-time interns available at least 4 days a week are welcome to apply
