Your role

The Business Development and Partnerships Teams at Shopee are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The teams also aim to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

As a Business Development Intern, your key responsibilities may include:

• Assist in the development of business strategies by using data and statistical analysis to identify package performance, revenue performance, and partner performance.  
• Design, develop, and deploy a dashboard or tracker to support business requirements using tools such as Excel, Data Studio, or SQL.
• Support the team to launch packages, and partner with the Marketing team to plan the components of the package such as assets, and obligations.
• Creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.

About you

To apply for this internship, you should meet the following requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Data Science, Data Analytics, or any related quantitative field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SQL, Python skills are a plus.
• Adapts well in a dynamic environment.
• Full-time interns preferred 3 to 6 months.
• Part-time interns who can commit at least 3 working days a week are also welcome to apply.

The estimated salary for this role is approximately SGD 14,000 per year, which includes base salary and additional pay. Specific benefits may vary depending on factors such as job role, level of experience, and location.
