In your second year, you could experience more technical areas such as Actuary and Capital & Investments.
We believe that we will be our best when our workforce is as diverse, talented, and passionate as the communities in which we live and operate. We aspire to be one of the most inclusive places to work in Australia and New Zealand.
Please note: By pre-registering you will be taken to the Suncorp Career site to submit an Expression of Interest with us. By doing so you will be notified of when our applications open in August, and you will be required to submit a formal application for the role at this time.
I am satisfied with the level of work I do. I am not 'pulling my hair out' stresses but I am kept busy and know that the work I do is valuable to my team and the wider business.
Currently sitting in commercial BDM team, working from an shared inbox, responding to brokers submissions for new business particularly in the SME space - I pick up a submission, go through the necessary steps to evaluate the risk, and underwrite it
The exposure to different areas of the business from the graduate program is thrilling and helps me grow professionally and personally.

I love the culture and the flexibility we have in our working arrangements. I also love the exposure we get at graduates to so many areas of the business.
Great community within the company & especially the graduates themselves. A large amount of opportunities to try out different things & discover which type of work you enjoy the most.
Suncorp offers continuous support and opportunities to its graduates. I love being able to network with a large group of people in a variety of roles across the business.
Supportive and kind colleagues, flexibility in work, growth and pathway opportunities.
Hybrid, flexible work - sometimes you don't get a good night's sleep - and being able to skip the commute is fantastic for my mental health.
The technology experience, there are multiple portals to request access to things, and if you mess one up it will take weeks to solve. Getting set up at the start of your role can take weeks to be able to complete your work independently because of this.
Sometimes not given enough work.
There is innovation lag, but there is a lot being done in the innovation space to make up for some lost time.
Difficulty finding permanent employment after a Graduate Programme.
It is difficult to be satisfied as there is no opportunity to grow my salary outside of inflationary pay bumps in the Suncorp program.
