Investment Services Business Analytics/RPA Intern (Dec 2024)

You will be a member of the Investment Service team to roll out automation solutions using RPA to digitize and streamline manual processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Understand the end-to-end business process and requirements. 
• Research and innovate using RPA for the following areas:-
  • Transferring of documents from GP portals to the destination repository
  • Automating trade capture in SimCorp Dimension (SCD) by translating capital call requests into system-readable format 
  • Automating NAV updates in SCD by translating NAV statements into system-readable format
• To be responsible and support of the team’s core activities

The incumbent will be able to gain the following competencies:

• Business knowledge in funds processing activities
• Experience in Agile delivery model
• Experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) 
• Experience in working with Sharepoint and SCD 
• Gain knowledge in process streamlining, eliciting user requirements, and process documentation. 

Qualifications / Capabilities:

• Good analytical skills and detail-oriented 
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a similar discipline
• Strong IT skills (Python, R, Excel VBA, SQL) and conversant with the use of search engines and databases, web scraping
• Good communication skills
• Strong co-ordination and organization skills.
• Highly professional and discreet, able to maintain confidentiality on projects
