Your role
Temasek undertakes an ecosystem development approach to build new platforms and transform existing businesses for sustainable growth and value creation. In support of ecosystem development efforts, the Singapore Markets Team is responsible for forging strategic partnerships and advancing Temasek’s policy interests with government and other relevant stakeholders in Singapore. T
Roles and responsibilities:
Identify and map key policy stakeholders including political office holders, government officials/regulators, and trade unions, who can/will influence Temasek’s projects.
Develop engagement strategies to reach out and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders to strengthen Temasek’s network of partners.
Support research efforts and provide assessments on strategic and policy issues relating to energy, climate change and sustainability, digital and innovation, healthcare and biomedical sciences, agrifood, transport, and urban solutions, manpower, and workforce development, engaging small and medium enterprises concerning Temasek’s ecosystem.
Formulate and execute plans to address strategic issues that have an impact on Temasek’s business interests, such as political or regulatory issues relating to ecosystem-building projects and industrial relations matters related to our portfolio companies in Singapore.
Organize and manage internal or external meetings, including the preparation of meeting briefs and presentations.
Plan, organize, and manage engagement and networking platforms.
Manage the team’s relationship management database.
About you
Incumbent will be able to gain the following competencies:
Degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Law, Business Management, Economics, Sociology, Environmental Sciences or related fields.
Relevant experience in government pr trade relations or public policy, with good knowledge of protocol management would be a plus.
Research and analytical skills.
Stakeholder engagement.
Specific domain knowledge such as sustainability, energy, digital, and workforce development.
Effective communication through presentation materials.
Events management.
