In Australia, there are two separate businesses: Toyota Motor Corporation Australia (TMCA) and Toyota Finance Australia (TFA).  While they work closely together, Toyota Finance Australia’s priority is to provide finance, insurance and fleet management, while Toyota Motor Corporation Australia is continuously innovating to develop products that meet the needs of the market both now and into the future - they offer mobility solutions for people to move and be moved.

The Graduate Program offers tailored development activities, including several Toyota-wide experiences, projects, and mentoring opportunities. If you join you will: 

• Participate in the World-leading Toyota Global Content Training to mould you into a Kaizen guru by learning their methodology on systems and processes.
• Become immersed in the supply chain by experiencing the Toyota Parts Centre (TPC).
• Learn from customers in their Guest Experience Centre.
• Grow your project management and problem-solving skills by taking on projects individually or together with your teammates.
• Connect with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to build on your communication & presenting skills.

If you’re selected for the graduate program, they’ll offer you a 2-year Fixed Term employment contract.

About you

Toyota is looking for strong all-rounders with a passion for continuous improvement, who will place customers at the centre of their work and who share their values. They will consider candidates who are open to learning about the business and are open to a vast variety of degrees. They’ve had successful candidates from finance, science, IT, marketing, business and many more.

Qualifications:

Training, development & rotations

During the course of your two-year program, you’ll get a broad understanding of the organisation by undertaking multiple placements. You will have the opportunity to work across the different divisions across the Victoria locations. Designed to accelerate your transition from studies to work life, the program provides you with options to build a strong career foundation and expand your leadership capabilities along the way.

In the second half of the program, they will partner with you in exploring career opportunities beyond the program and aim to guide your transition into a suitable role at Toyota Australia.
