Your role

Interested in working in finance, specifically a career in banking, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?

UBS is looking for ambitious students to join their 2024 Summer Internship Program within the Global Banking business.

You’ll be working in their Global Banking team, which is responsible for providing coverage, advisory, capital markets and financing solutions for corporate, financial institutions and sponsor clients.

You’ll get to:

  • Evaluate companies and develop models for M&A transactions
  • Prepare industry analyses for pitches
  • See first-hand how they provide market-leading solutions
  • Be involved in the execution of live innovative deals that are transforming today's corporate landscape

Training & development

During your 10-week paid internship, you’ll work with experts and learn about the industry, the clients and the firm. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts. In your first week, you'll experience a thorough training course that focuses on professional development and the technical skills you'll need for the job. During the remaining 9 weeks of the summer, you'll work with one of the Global Banking teams where you will learn their day-to-day business. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of their teams.
