About UBS Global

UBS is the world’s largest and only truly global wealth manager. They operate through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and Investment Bank. Their global reach and the breadth of their expertise set them apart from their competitors.

Your role

You will be working in UBS Group Corporate Services (GCS) – one of the Chief Digital and Information Office (CDIO) functions within Group Functions – in their Sydney offices. Their function supports UBS by driving UBS’s real estate and PropTech strategy as well as all related services (e.g. facility management). They manage the Strategic Delivery within Australia/NZ for all services and strategies. They furthermore are advancing the global procurement strategy and identifying and delivering sourcing opportunities that provide optimal value and drive digitalization through the platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the real estate portfolio and footprint strategy
  • Rollout the delivery of workplace concepts
  • Support building-related accounting and lease administration
  • Coordinate, manage and enable initiatives aligned with business strategic direction
  • Analyze real estate trends to identify development areas

Training & development

Aside from the experience you’ll gain in your role, UBS believes that additional opportunities to grow should be open to everyone. This can be through job shadowing, a carefully designed curriculum, or UBS University. UBS University is helping its employees build skills to use now, along with new capabilities for the future.

  2. Flexible working
  3. Mental health
  4. Recognition and commitment

Career progression

UBS wants its employees to be able to build interesting careers there. One way they do that is through their innovative Career Navigator platform – a suite of self-service tools and resources that includes networking and mentoring opportunities, career path and training guidance, access to short-term rotations and mobility tools like an online job board accessed by almost 36,000 employees in 2022.

Work-life balance

At UBS, they take a well-balanced approach to meet the needs of their employees and businesses and further evolve into a more agile organization through flexible working. Among some of the flexible working opportunities they offer, is job sharing, which allows employees to work part-time for a role that requires full-time coverage by sharing the role with another employee. Flexible working in the office and from home is also already available in many of their work locations.

Culture & vibe

Gender, race and ethnicity, LGBTQ+, disability, veterans, and mental health matters. UBS Global's strategy is to continue to shape a diverse and inclusive organization that is innovative, provides outstanding service to clients, offers equitable opportunities, and is a great place to work for everyone.

About you

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably related to either real estate (e.g. real estate management, architecture, engineering, facility and or asset management with specialization in real estate management) or business analytics or data-driven studies (economics).
  • Good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • A flexible, open-minded, inclusive, and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
