Your Role
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Prepare draft Note Verbales for government counterparts, including the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Engage with government counterparts to address protocol-related issues under the guidance of the UN Partnership Officer.
- Support liaison with the UN Country Team regarding protocol-related requests.
- Assist with logistics and substantive support for incoming high-level UN delegations.
About You
Applicants should meet one of the following requirements:
- Enrolled in or completed a graduate program (second university degree or higher) or the final academic year of a first university degree (minimum bachelor’s degree).
- Studies in international development, economics, computer sciences, statistics, political sciences, or related fields are required.
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills and excellent teamwork abilities.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills and can work independently.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese for national candidates; fluency in English is required for international candidates, with other UN languages as an asset.
