Internship in the Administrative Unit of the Investigations Division at OIOS, focusing on workforce planning and administrative support.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and updating workforce statistics.
  • Conducting research and assisting with workforce planning and analysis.
  • Supporting recruitment activities, including outreach and communication with candidates.
  • Updating staffing tables, address lists, and telephone directories.
  • Maintaining electronic personnel records.
  • Assisting with staffing level reviews and post classification documents.
  • Archiving investigation cases and HR documents.
  • Managing inventory, including equipment verification and updates.
  • Providing administrative support for remote office operations.

About You:

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Enrolled in or completed a graduate school program or final year of a first university degree.
  • Field of study related to Administration or Programme Management.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS SharePoint.
  • Previous administrative support experience is desirable.
  • Experience in Human Resources Administration, statistics, inventory, and database management is desirable.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required; knowledge of another UN language is an advantage.

Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs for travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.

Interns will gain experience in workforce planning, recruitment, and administrative support within an international organization.
