Support the design and development of data-driven products for change management at the United Nations.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of data-driven products.
  • Collaborating with teams to identify key priorities and dependencies.
  • Documenting workflows and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Tracking project progress and reporting on key milestones.
  • Organizing and maintaining program-related documentation.
  • Conducting data collection and analysis to evaluate program performance.
  • Working closely with team members to develop Standard Operation Procedures and best practices.
  • Monitoring discussions and responding to inquiries.

About You:

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Enrolled in or have completed a graduate school program or the final academic year of a first university degree.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with planning virtual events and knowledge of metrics and reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project or similar software.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Slido, Zoom, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and process mapping.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of an additional UN language is an advantage.

Compensation & Benefits:

The internship is unpaid. Interns are responsible for their travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses. For in-person internships in the USA, a G-4 visa is required for non-citizens or non-permanent residents.

Training & Development:

This internship offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management and contribute to strategic tools and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Career Progression:

Potential for extension to a maximum of six months, pending departmental needs.
