Join the UN as an Information System Intern in Human Resources, contributing to system design and development.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities as follows:

  • Participates in preparing user requirements and technical specifications.
  • Assists in the design, development, and installation of information systems.
  • Undertakes analysis of system modules, develops enhancements, and implements small systems.
  • Conducts rigorous testing and proving of applications software.
  • Maintains system operations, supports applications, and implements changes/upgrades.
  • Writes programs to interface with existing systems, ensuring data security and integrity.
  • Prepares and maintains system documentation and technical manuals.
  • Assists in setting up and monitoring software performance measures.

About You:

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Enrolled in or completed a graduate or final year of a first university degree program.
  • Educational background in human resources, public administration, or related fields is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Teams.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required; knowledge of French or another UN language is an advantage.
