Your Role:
The position is based in the Office of the Secretary-General's Envoy on Technology (OSET) and involves implementing the Secretary-General's vision on digital cooperation.
Responsibilities include facilitating dialogue among UN entities and stakeholders, supporting the Global Digital Compact, and contributing to the ""Our Common Agenda"" report.
Internship opportunities are available in four tracks: Policy Analysis and Assessment, Analytics, Communication and Design, and Programme Management and Administration.
Tasks vary by track, including policy analysis, data visualization, content design, and project management.
About You:
Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed a relevant graduate or final-year undergraduate program.
Preferred fields of study include International Relations, Analytics, Design, and Public Administration, among others.
Fluency in English is required, with knowledge of another UN language being advantageous.
Non-U.S. citizens must obtain a G4 visa and ensure valid employment authorization.
Compensation & Benefits:
Internships are unpaid. Interns are responsible for their travel, visa, accommodation, and living expenses.
Training & Development:
Interns will gain experience in digital cooperation and governance, working closely with UN entities and stakeholders.
