Internship opportunity at EY GDS Consulting in Kolkata, focusing on database projects and technical best practices.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate as a team member on El implementation projects.
- Provide technical best practices at the product and design level.
- Communicate effectively with onsite coordinators.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and provide regular status updates to the lead.
- Contribute to building a quality culture and foster teamwork within the organization.
- Participate in organization-wide initiatives.
About You
Candidates should have:
- Education: BE/BTech/MCA/MBA (freshers or candidates with 0-1 years of experience).
- Proficiency in SQL and procedural SQL languages.
- Knowledge of Python, R, or other scripting/programming languages.
- Basic data analysis and data handling skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and the ability to build code logic.
- Understanding of software development best practices.
- Strong business communication and consulting skills.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Analyze and design database objects using technologies like SQL Server, Oracle, and Teradata.
- Hands-on experience with Unix scripting.
- Develop logical and physical data flow models for applications.
- Exposure to tools like SSIS, SSRS, DB2, and ETL tools (e.g., SAP BODS, DataStage) is a plus.
- No backlogs, CGPA > 7.5, Graduation Year: 2024 or 2025.
