Risk Consulting - Structured Finance Advisory Services Intern (Start ASAP)

Join EY's Structured Finance Advisory Services team in Bangalore to support securitization transactions and collaborate with global clients.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing agreed-upon procedures to assist clients in securitization transactions.
• Checking financial model accuracy against governing documents.
• Creating cashflow/analytics models for securitized products.
• Conducting transaction modeling and analytics.
• Constructing independent cash flow and collateral models using Excel.
• Creating and updating detailed reports summarizing results.
• Interpreting prospectus/indenture information and deal structures.
• Performing analyses on complex models for structured product valuation.
• Establishing relationships with client personnel and delivering quality services.
• Demonstrating technical capabilities and staying updated on industry developments.
• Performing loan document and data reviews.
• Creating collateral stratification tables for loan pool assessment.
• Reviewing offering documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Multitasking and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Articulating issues and communicating clearly to seniors.
• Collaborating with team members and working on large client portfolios.
• Valuing structured products using third-party models.
• Extracting pricing information from research tools and vendors.

About You

Candidates must have:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline with 2 years of related work experience; MBA preferred.
• Excellent prioritization skills and commitment to meeting client deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for report writing and client interactions.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Flexibility to work more than standard hours when necessary.
• Willingness to work in shifts based on the role.
• Prior structured finance experience is ideal.
