Your role
The Tax Technology & Transformation (TTT) Practice is looking to hire an intern to join its growing team which is made up of highly skilled professionals with a broad range of technology and consulting competencies. The TTT practice offers services to organizations in response to fast-paced technology changes and business trends, including the growing data burden that many taxpayers face, driving efficiencies to create a cost-effective tax function, and the need to make data an asset.
Your key responsibilities as an intern may include:
Work on various client projects, from helping produce leading practice automation and data analytics solutions to implementing third-party tax applications for multinational tax departments.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and support the delivery of them until completion, including documenting requirements, design, configuration, testing, and project management.
About you
To be a part of EY, you should meet the following requirements, skills, and attributes for success:
Pursuing a university degree related to Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Finance, Accountancy, or a similar quantitative field of study.
Strong interest in technology and its use in business processes.
Basic knowledge of tax functions and regulations.
Knowledge or experience in any Data Science & Analytics or design and development of databases specifically SQL Server or Microsoft Power Platform, Developing ETL solutions using SSIS or other tools
data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, and SharePoint development (SPFx).
Knowledge or experience in implementing third-party direct or indirect tax systems such as ONESOURCE and CCH.
A desire to use new technologies to help change how clients operate their processes and manage their data.
A natural flair for problem-solving and an entrepreneurial approach to work.
Excellent communication and business writing skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with exceptional client-serving consulting skills.
Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
